From a very young age Ray Lema loved to mix things up. The son of a very Protestant family, he entered the catholic seminar aged 11, intending to become a priest. There a Belgian monk led him to discover music. The little boy showed talent and became a skilled pianist. After Bach and Mozart, Ray began listening to Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, and to the traditional music of his homeland Zaire.
